Fathers Matter and Stellenbosch FC

“I can tell that having a father is really important, even though I grew up with no father” – Qobolwakhe Sibande (Stellenbosch FC footballer)

Stellenbosch FC has a ‘More than football’ programme that it uses to support the club’s players beyond their athletic performance. They recently used the Fathers Matter films and discussion resources to help the players have important conversations about their own father stories – and to dream about the fathers they want to be in the future.
