President Cyril Ramaphosa recently implored South African men to step up their responsibilities to their children and families as a way of lessening some of the burdens shouldered by women in South Africa. This is a complex issue, and "stepping up" may not be that easy - but there are practical ways to encourage and equip fathers to become more involved.
