'Gripping and relevant content, an outstanding production'

Heartlines was awarded the Focus on the Family Media Shield at the 2023 Association of Christian Media (ACM) awards that took place during the annual ACM conference that was held in Cape Town from 3 – 4 May 2023.

The award recognises content that effectively and excellently promotes the strengthening of the family or family values. Nominees' content needs to focus specifically on family related issues and emphasize biblically sound principles on nurturing and protecting families in Africa with the ultimate goal of helping families thrive.

During the ceremony, ACM General Manger Natalie Turco described the film series as having "highlighted the importance of the role of the father in the family."

One of the award judges also commended Heartlines' work, describing the series as, "gripping and relevant content, an outstanding production".

Turco added that this "exceptional campaign truly impacted many families and communities by showing the importance of fathers in their children’s lives".

Heartlines' Editorial & Digital Content Director Nevelia Moloi was at the event in Cape Town to accept the award on behalf of Heartlines.
